It broke again 😤

The guards are incredibly fragile. Even after buying replacements, they snapped after few uses. Great trimmer, but the plastic quality on the combs is a dealbreaker.

Beardscape guard 3-6 mm

Finding the new guard cutting me and not shaving the beard consistently.

Trying not to force it as that cuts but if i don't it won't shave properly.

Have you used these guards for sometime but this new one doesn't seem right.

Not doing anything different in my shaving pattern.

Any ideas?

Thank you for the feedback and we are sorry to hear the new guard is not performing the way your previous one did! It sounds like the blade may need to be adjusted or the guard may not be seated correctly. Make sure the micro-adjuster is set all the way down before attaching the guard, and when attaching make sure the black tab is tucked under the lip at the bottom before snapping it forward into place. Also try adding a drop or two of clipper oil to the blade teeth before use as this can make a big difference in how smoothly it cuts. great machine but poor clip design

I think the machine is amazing and very professionally made. However, the plastic clips keep breaking and I don't know why... I only used this machine for 2 months for three of them to break...

A broken replacement guard

Have owned a Beardscape trimmer for several years. Finally came to the time when I had to order a replacement guard for one of the combs and was, unfortunately, quite disappointed in the quality. It literally broke in half in my hand on the second use. I was shocked as I am always careful when changing guard combs. My original combs have lasted several years. But these replacement guards feel inferior in quality and durability to the trimmer.

Guards break easily

I love the brio trimmer, I have two of them now! My only complaint is the 3/6 guards on both of my trimmers broke after only a few uses. I am glad it’s easy to order replacements and they’re not super expensive

Broken guard

I bought this clipper for my husband as a Xmas gift. (Beardscape v2) He seems to like it, but he used it with the 1-2 mm attachment maybe 3 times, and then it broke in half. I'm a hairdresser, so I've used used lots of clippers. I've never had an attachment break. They shouldn't...certainly not after afew uses.

Hello, Tracy! Thanks for your review and sorry to see the broken guard! There are some things you can do to prevent them from breaking - first, it's best not to store them on the trimmer. Instead, keep them safe in a drawer or travel case. I'm not sure if you own a Zero Blade, but just to cover my bases - the guards are not compatible with it and will break if they're forced onto it.
